Welcome from the Head of School
A warm welcome to Chingford Foundation School and Chingford Sixth Form.
C.F.S is recognised by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school. This is due to the hard work and commitment of our staff and the perseverance and positivity of our pupils. We are, however, not satisfied with good, and continue to develop a culture of aspiration and high expectations in order to make our school the best it can be.
At Chingford Foundation School, our mission is to foster an environment that nurtures not only academic excellence but also personal growth, creativity and resilience. We believe in the potential of every student and are committed to providing them with the support and opportunities they need to thrive. As a school we have a motto' of no child left behind and this encapsulates our vision as a truly inclusive school where ALL students can thrive.
We believe in developing our students so that they are able to achieve their potential both academically and as members of our community. We work on the traditional values of respect, discipline and responsibility to prepare our students for the challenges of examinations, social interactions and the world of work. We want all of our students to find their passion and have the tools to pursue their dreams.
We have a strong pastoral system and curriculum to allow us to ensure that our students are happy, safe and challenged in all they do at school. We very much subscribe to the proverb 'it takes a village to raise a child' and this collaborative approach working closely with our parents and our community ensures that we offer the best for all in our school.
