Chingford Foundation School

Curriculum and Entry Requirements

At Chingford Sixth Form, all students follow an academic curriculum that is best suited to their individual talents and future prospects. Most students study three A-Levels; however a small number of exceptionally able students can study four A-Levels after agreement from the Director of Sixth Form.

All students in the Sixth Form undertake a tutorial programme, key skills classes, and participate in a games lesson once a week. Students have the opportunity to take part in a range of clubs and extracurricular activities to broaden their curriculum experience as much as possible. Furthermore, students have the option to study the EPQ and Core Maths.

In addition to the subject specific requirements in each subject, students will need to achieve a minimum of a Grade 4 in five of their GCSE subjects.
