Catering

From 1st September 2024, our catering will be provided by Olive Dining.

Olive Dining are delighted to be the new catering provider for our school.
Olive are passionate and committed in providing the most nutritious and delicious school meals. Our food is always freshly prepared on site, using the highest quality ingredients.
We offer exciting and innovative menus which run in 3-weekly cycles, each of which contain a variety of hot dishes with different concepts. Our cold deli bar also offers plenty of delicious, fresh salad options with a selection of freshly filled sandwiches and baguettes.
In addition to our lunchtime menus, we provide an extensive array of food choices which include morning break items or grab and go snacks from the pod area.
We have a dedicated onsite catering team who are skilled and trained in creating all our menus and dishes.
We also have several fun theme days for students to enjoy which run throughout the school academic year.

The price of the meal of the day and the free school meal entitlement is £2.65. In addition to the meal of the day, we have a wide variety of other items that students can choose from, including baguettes, sandwiches, salad boxes, fresh fruit and yoghurt pots. As a Healthy School, our menus adhere to high levels of nutritional guidelines.

How to pay - online payment cashless catering system

Please note that we operate a cashless system where payments are processed online. Parents/carers have been sent letters with instructions on how to create an online account where, once created, you can check balances for dinner money, school trips and make payments to the school. You can also use your account for other tasks such as checking your child's meal history and updating contact details.

Biometric registration

We are a 'cashless' school and all students use the cashless system to purchase food and to borrow from the library. Fingerprints are taken and immediately encrypted; images are not stored, and data protection procedures ensure security.

Free School Meals

If you think your child is eligible to receive free school meals, you can obtain more information and apply online at www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/free-school-meals or phone 020 8496 8506/8505 or 020 8496 3000. If you are eligible, please make sure you are registered, as the school will receive additional funding for each child registered for free school meals. The school office will be happy to assist you with your application. Students' free school meals allowances are loaded on to their account daily and may be spent at break or lunch times for food, drinks or snacks. All children use the same system and go through the same till process.
