School Uniform

Chingford Foundation School expects a high standard of personal appearance of uniform from all students.

Self-presentation to the highest standard is key professional skill employers demand, and in preparation for this we assume all students to wear their school uniform with pride. 

 School Uniform (Years 7–11)

• Black blazer with school badge

• Maroon V-neck sweater with school emblem

• White shirt (must button to the neck)

• Plain maroon tie with crest

• Mid-grey knee-length skirt or mid-grey approved style trousers

• White ankle socks (with skirts) or black/grey plain opaque tights

• Formal all-black shoes: polishable, flat, low-heeled, and supportive

Boots or trainers are not permitted

Optional Items

• Maroon jumper with school crest

  • Plain, V-neck pullover (no cardigans or round neck jumpers)

  • Must be worn under blazer

• Religious headwear: plain black or maroon, must not obscure uniform or face

• Plain black outdoor coat (quilted or duffle)

  • Plain scarf, gloves, and pull-on hat permitted in colder months

PE Kit (Years 7–11)

Compulsory Items

• Maroon and gold crested polo shirt

• Maroon and gold crested shorts

• Maroon football socks

• Outside trainers

• Indoor trainers (non-marking soles)

Additional items (depending on sport)

• Maroon and gold crested fleece

• Maroon and gold crested tracksuit trousers

• Maroon and gold reversible rugby shirt

• Football/rugby boots

• Gum shield

• Shin pads
