What can Parents and Carers do to support with Safeguarding your child? 

At Chingford Foundation School, we value our partnership with parents and carers. This section brings together key information, support, and guidance to help you stay connected with school life and keep your child safe, both in school and online.

You can use the following platforms to stay up to date with your child’s progress and our wider school community:

  • School Newsletter & Term Dates – stay informed about upcoming events and achievements.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please contact us immediately.

The SHARP System – Anonymous Reporting

At Chingford Foundation School, we encourage all students to speak up if they are worried about themselves or someone else. To help make this easier, students can use our SHARP System which is a secure, anonymous online reporting tool that allows them to share concerns about bullying, safety, mental health, or anything that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Every report is received by our Safeguarding Team, who review it promptly and take appropriate action to ensure support and safety.

Parents and carers are encouraged to remind their child that this system is there to help them, even if they’re unsure or just need advice.
