CFS Students Celebrate Jump in GCSE Results!
Students at Chingford Foundation School are celebrating a sharp rise in GCSE outcomes this year, marking a significant improvement on 2024 and bucking the national trend of falling grades.
The Class of 2025 has achieved excellent results across a broad range of subjects. Their success reflects the hard work, ambition, and commitment of students, staff, and families working in partnership.

Over 70% of all GCSE grades were awarded at Grade 4 or above — a notable increase on last year.

Well over half of all grades achieved were Grade 5 or higher, showing continued academic strength.

Mathematics success: Three-quarters of students achieved at least a Grade 4.

Progress measures: On average, students achieved half a grade higher than their targets.
