Students at Chingford Sixth Form are celebrating another successful year of A-Level and vocational results. This year’s outcomes build on the Sixth Form’s excellent progress score of +0.32 in 2024, demonstrating once again that students consistently exceed their target grades when studying at Chingford.
Overall, 50% of A-Level grades awarded were at A*–B, with over three quarters of students achieving A–C. These results represent further improvement on last year’s outcomes and highlight the consistency of high performance across a wide range of subjects.
Students taking vocational qualifications also performed exceptionally well. The average grade awarded was a Distinction, with a high number of students securing top grades of Distinction* or Distinction in all their courses.
The school is immensely proud of the resilience, focus, and determination shown by its Year 13 students. Their success reflects a genuine commitment to academic excellence and personal growth, developed over two challenging but rewarding years of post-16 study. These results are a testament to their hard work, supported by dedicated staff and a Sixth Form culture that values ambition, support, and inclusion.
A Level Results 2025 – Exceptional Student Achievements
Among this year’s highest-achieving students were:
- Eleonora Lucic – A*, A*, A* – going on to read Law at the University of Durham
- Joseph Shaw – A*, A*, A – taking up a place at Bangor University for Electronic Engineering
- Lola Metcalfe – A*, A*, A – studying English and Spanish at the University of Bristol
- Alexander Gauld – A*, A, A – taking up a place at KCL to study Maths
- Shiona Daniel-Rose – A*, A*, B – progressing to Queen Mary University for Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Hannah Webb – A, A, A – starting an apprenticeship at KPMG
- Mustafa Kaya – A*, A, B - secured a place at Queen Mary's to study Business Management
Other outstanding performances include:

Vocational Results 2025 – Distinction and Distinction Star Success
Success was equally strong among vocational students, three students achieved Distinction* in all their vocational subjects:

A growing number of students are also embracing exciting higher-level apprenticeships, a route that will provide an excellent platform to thrive in the world of work. This year, destinations include:
