Student Spotlight: Emir Yilmaz – Jack Petchey Award Winner for October 

We are delighted to recognise Emir Yilmaz, a Year 8 student at Chingford Foundation School, as the Jack Petchey Achievement Award winner for October.

Emir is a model student who consistently demonstrates positivity, respect and responsibility. He serves as a positive role model for others and always encourages his peers to do their best.

Recently, Emir took part in the student focus group for Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) in preparation for DLD Awareness Day. He played a key role in championing this event across his year group and promoting understanding among his peers.

Emir is always approachable and friendly, and he regularly advocates for his classmates, offering support and encouragement whenever needed.

We are very proud of Emir’s achievements and the positive impact he has on our school community. His commitment to supporting others and his enthusiasm for every opportunity make him a very deserving recipient of this award.
