Gold DofE Students Gain Career Insights at Google HQ

Students from our Gold Duke of Edinburgh cohort attended a careers training day at Google’s London office during the half-term break.

The event featured seminars on how to highlight skills developed through DofE on a CV and how to discuss challenges and achievements from expeditions during interviews.
It offered valuable insight into how DofE builds transferable skills that employers and universities value, including teamwork, communication and resilience.

Our Gold participants are now continuing their volunteering, physical and skills activities through the winter term and will begin expedition training in January as they work towards completing their awards.

We are proud of their ongoing commitment and determination to achieve this prestigious qualification.
