Year 13 Geographers Visit Sheringham
In September, our Year 13 Geography students enjoyed a residential field trip to Sheringham in Norfolk, where they had the opportunity to carry out important coastal fieldwork and explore the local area.
Students stayed at the Sheringham Youth Hostel and visited several nearby coastal locations including Sheringham, West Runton and Cromer. During the trip, they conducted a range of fieldwork activities such as groyne height analysis, beach profiling and environmental quality surveys.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone involved, both academically and socially. The students demonstrated outstanding behaviour, teamwork and commitment throughout, and enjoyed some well-earned free time exploring the town.
The Geography team would like to thank all students for their hard work and enthusiasm across the trip. We are already looking forward to returning in July with our Year 12 cohort.
