Celebrating our School
At Chingford Foundation School, we pride ourselves on our culture of ambition, success and celebration.
Celebrating our student and staff successes allows us to come together as a community and reflect upon our collective and individual achievements, and those who contribute to our inclusive community.
Students that display sustained and excellent effort receive positive referrals; published weekly and promoted prominently in school grounds. In addition, positive referrals are given half termly for outstanding attendance and punctuality, celebrated in assemblies and highlighted through PowerPoints. A long-established system of half colours, full colours, sports captains, and honour certificates has been developed to celebrate achievement, success and effort.
Student of the Month certificates are distributed in assemblies and commandment postcards sent home to those who demonstrate great effort, skill and going above and beyond.
Heads of Year display weekly charts for best attending tutor groups and tutor groups with the most cumulative positive referrals.
