Well done to all our Year 11s for their achievements in their GCSEs!
Message from the Executive Principal
On behalf of the governors at Chingford Foundation School and the Trustees of the Chingford Academies Trust I would like to congratulate our Year 11 students on their tremendous success today. Well done to each and every one of you.
In what has been an exceptionally difficult year, when students will have been disappointed not to have completed their schooling in the way that they imagined, it is important that you recognize the value of your achievements. The grades that have been awarded in 2020 are no less valuable than in any other year; they are a culmination of 5 years hard work at secondary school and in their primary school before that. They are very well deserved and will provide you with the platform to succeed in your chosen careers and further study. You should be very proud of your efforts and achievements, we are.
More than in any other year, the hard work of teachers and school staff and the support of your families has been critical. So, I would also like to extend my gratitude to professionals, parents and carers for the important part that you have played in getting our young people to this exciting stage in their life.
So, to those of you joining us in September in the 6th form, we look forward to seeing you soon. Those of you moving on to pastures new, all that remains to say is thank you for your enormous contribution to our school community in the last few years, stay in touch, and I wish you all the very best of good fortune, happiness and health in the future.

Individual Students Successes!
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of all our students. The effort they have shown over the past few years working towards their qualifications has been exemplary. We had some students who were awarded exceptional grades. Charlotte Erics achieved a sensational nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8. Anna Taylor was equally impressive with her eight Grade 9s and two Grade 8s. Other exceptional achievers were Aaliyah Malek with seven Grade 9s and three Grade 8s, Lara Gould who secured six Grade 9s, and James Orefice with five Grade 9s.
Congratulations to all of our Year 11s, well done!
Queries about your Examination Grades
This year, because students have been awarded the highest grade in each subject from their Centre assessed grade (CAG) and their exam board moderated grade, we anticipate few appeals. However, if you wish to appeal a grade that you have received, in the first instance please contact either Ms. Adams firstname.lastname@example.org (CFS) or Mr Baker email@example.com . Appeals guidance from JCQ the regulatory body can be found here.
